long time, no write

Sorry that it has been so long.  Lack of Internet access explains it all.  That and my life is like a real life soap opera.  Crazy.  Mainly my family and grandparents are the culprits.  It is hard to explain the situation so I won't but if you could, if you would, be in prayer for us.  It has been a very hurtful situation for all involved and there is no way that we know of that we can fix it.  It will have to be all God.

But in me it has brought up some very real anger issues that I wasn't aware of.  And it brought up a lot of questions.  And I have to admit they were directed at God.  He should be able to fix everything right?  So why doesn't He?  I hate questions, but I am learning to trust Him and live without specific answers.

Life is hard.

Emmanuel.  God is with us.

Talk to you later.

It's true - life is hard. Just always remember Joseph when you don't understand - a whole life of hurt and crap (from his flesh and blood, no less), and in the end he said: "But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive." (Gen. 50:20)

Nothing surprises God...not situations, sins, questions, anger, or attitudes. I'm so thankful that God is God and I'm not.

Hang in there, and I'm definately praying for you!

Love, Chris

"We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they are good for us--they help us learn to endure. And endurance develops strength of character in us, and character strengthens our confident expectation of salvation."
Romans 5:3,4 (NLT)

We can't always understand the "why" of a situation, but rather take what we know to be true, pick apart the threads of the our experience, and run with what we have learned from it.
God means it for His glory, ALWAYS. You can rest in knowing that your circumstances have come because of something He wants to work in/with/for you.

Praying for you.
